First shoot a video using your smartphone. Then, use the video on Webcam Motion Capture as an input. In this way, you can control your 3D avatar according to your move even on relatively slow computers. Learn from here for more detail.
A: Use VRoid Studio. It is free easy-to-use software to create 3D avatars, which does not require any special skills!
Export your avatar as vrm file. Then import it to Webcam Motion Receiver.
A: Yes. You can make the Webcam Motion Receiver's background transparent and set your preferred video as the background in OBS Studio. See Set Up OBS Studio for details.
A: Yes. We have confirmed that EpocCam on iPhone/iPad and DroidCam on Android are compatible with Webcam Motion Capture. Both the apps are free.
A: The tracking usually gets more stable in a bright and non-cluttered room.
The app assumes that you are facing straight to the camera, so the height of your camera should be roughly at the same level as your head.
Your face and chest should be fully visible, so don't be too close to the camera. Also, the tracking gets stable if your elbow is visible when you raise your hand.
The quality of hand tracking often improves if your elbows, forearms, and hands are uncovered. So, if your forearms are covered by long sleeves, it is recommended that you roll up your sleeves above your elbows.
A: Check "Hide Webcam" at the bottom of the Webcam Motion Capture window.
A: The problem is you cannot access the same webcam from both the apps at the same time. Here are the possible solutions.
You can use your smartphone as your second webcam. There are some free apps which turn your smartphone into a webcam as described here.
Set up a virtual camera. You can set up a virtual camera using SplitCam. Once the virtual camera is ready, you can access the camera from Webcam Motion Capture and VSeeFace at the same time.
A: Please check if your VRM model is compatible with the VRM specs. Especially, please check if your VRM model has all the required bones listed here.
In addition to the required bones, your VRM model needs to have all the 3 bones (Distal / Proximal / Intermediate) for each finger to be used in Webcam Motion Capture.

You may encounter the message "Windows protected your PC." In this case, click 'More Info' and then select 'Run anyway'.
You may want to check if the app has a permission to access your camera. Please refer to this page.
You may have to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package from here.

A: If the name of your camera is not displayed in the list next to "Camera" at the bottom of the Webcam Motion Capture window, please go to "Preferences" from the Webcam Motion Capture window menu and uncheck "Use DirectShow." Then, check again to see if the name of your camera appears in the list.
